AI agents

Set up your site and verify your domain

Add your site under AI agents and prove you own the domain with a tag on your home page.

Before agents get anything from Flamio, you add your site and prove you own its domain. Verification also starts the first scan of your site.

Before you begin

  • You need the Editor, Admin or Owner role.
  • Select the project in the sidebar project switcher. Without one, the page reads "Select a project to get started".
  • You need to deploy a change to your site's home page. Flamio cannot add the tag for you.
  • Your home page must open publicly over https://, without a login or a bot block.

Set up and verify

Open AI agents

In the sidebar, under Flamio On-Live, click AI agents. The page opens on Setup.

Add the site

Under Let AI agents use your site, the address comes prefilled from the project. Correct it if needed — use your public domain with https://, not an IP address or a local address — and click Set up.

The Site card shows the address with a Draft pill and Domain not verified.

Add the tag to your home page

Under Domain verification, copy the tag. It looks like this:

index.html
<meta name="flamio-site-verification" content="YOUR_VERIFICATION_TOKEN">

YOUR_VERIFICATION_TOKEN — the token in the tag shown on Setup. Copy the whole tag from the screen.

Put it in the <head> of your home page, in the HTML your server sends, and deploy. A tag added by a script, or on a page that redirects elsewhere, does not count.

Check the tag

Click Check. When Flamio finds the tag, the pill turns Domain verified and the page reads "The first scan has started. Its results appear in a few minutes."

Result

Your domain is verified and Flamio scans your site. The results appear on Site tree — see Scan your site and fix markup issues. Agents get the site only after you publish it — see Publish your site to agents.

Keep the tag on your home page

Flamio checks the tag again on every scheduled scan. After two failed checks in a row, agents stop using the site until the tag is back. If a check misses the tag, Setup warns you.

If the check fails

The check readsWhat to do
"No flamio-site-verification tag in the <head> of …"Add the tag to the HTML your server sends, on the exact address you set up, and deploy.
"The flamio-site-verification tag on … carries a different token."Copy the tag from Setup again and replace the old one.
"Flamio couldn’t read the home page of …"Make sure the home page opens publicly as an HTML page, without a login or a bot block.
