Billing & tokens

Plans

Start on the Free plan, subscribe to a paid plan, switch or cancel it, and get Enterprise pricing for your traffic.

A plan sets how many tokens your organization gets. Every plan includes the full product — plans differ only in token allowance, support and the UX reviews the Flamio team runs with you. For current prices and allowances, see Pricing or Settings > Plans & billing in the app.

Plan typeTokensPayment
FreeA one-time grant. No card, no subscription.
Paid plansA monthly allowance that refreshes each month.Monthly subscription by card.
EnterpriseA token budget calculated for your traffic.Agreed with the Flamio team.

Tokens never expire: whatever you have not spent carries over when you upgrade, switch or cancel.

Before you begin

  • Only the Owner can change the plan. Other members see "Only the account owner can change the plan or buy tokens." instead of the plan cards. There is no request flow — ask your owner.
  • All plan actions are on Settings > Plans & billing. The Upgrade button at the bottom of the sidebar opens it too.

Start on the Free plan

You can claim the Free plan once per organization, and only if the organization has never had a plan. Most people claim it on the last step of sign-up by clicking Start free. If you skipped it:

Open plans and billing

Click Settings in the sidebar, then Plans & billing under Billing.

Activate it

On the Start free card, click Activate free. The card names the size of the grant.

Result: the tokens are added at once, with no payment step. The Current plan card shows the Free plan with No subscription — "A one-time token grant, nothing to cancel."

If the organization already had a plan, Flamio refuses with "This organization already has a plan".

Subscribe to a paid plan

Compare the plans

On Settings > Plans & billing, compare the cards under Plans. Each one shows its price per month, its token allowance and what it adds over the plan below it.

Choose a plan

Click Subscribe on the plan you want. While you are on the Free plan, the button reads Upgrade.

Pay

Enter your card on the secure checkout page of Flamio's payment provider. Flamio never sees your card details. After paying, you return to Plans & billing.

Result: a banner reads "Payment confirmed. Your tokens usually appear within a minute — refresh if your balance hasn't updated shortly." The Current plan card shows the plan name, an Active badge and the Renews date.

Switch to a different plan

You need an Active subscription. If the badge reads Payment past due or Cancellation scheduled, resolve that first — Flamio refuses the switch until then.

Pick the new plan

On Settings > Plans & billing, under Plans, click Switch to this plan on the card you want.

Confirm

The Switch plan? dialog says "The price difference is prorated and applied to your next invoice." Click Switch plan.

Result: a message confirms "Plan updated. Proration is applied to your next invoice." The Current plan card shows the new plan and allowance once the payment provider confirms, usually within a minute. Reload the page if it still shows the old plan.

Cancel your subscription

Start the cancellation

On Settings > Plans & billing, click Cancel plan on the Current plan card.

Confirm

In Cancel your plan?, click Cancel plan. Click Keep plan to back out.

Result: the badge changes to Cancellation scheduled, and the date line changes from Renews to Ends. The card notes "Won't renew. You keep access until then — resume anytime from Manage billing." The plan stays active until that date, and your accumulated tokens stay usable after it — only the monthly allowance stops.

To undo the cancellation before the end date, click Manage billing on the same card and resume the subscription in the billing portal. Flamio has no resume button of its own.

Get Enterprise pricing

Enterprise has no self-serve checkout. Its card under Plans shows a starting price, and its allowance reads "A token budget calculated for your traffic".

Book a call

On Settings > Plans & billing, click Book a demo on the Enterprise card. A scheduling page opens in a new tab.

Pick a time

Choose a slot. The final price and token budget are agreed on the call.

Result: after the call, the Flamio team delivers the agreed token budget to your organization.

The sign-up wizard's Plan step has the same link: "No code yet? Book a demo and we'll email you starter tokens."

Limitations

  • Flamio does not offer annual billing — every plan is priced per month. Instead, buy one-time token packs, or book an Enterprise call for a custom arrangement.
  • Flamio does not let members other than the Owner upgrade, buy tokens or cancel, and has no request or approval flow — instead, ask the owner. Every member can still see the balance in Settings > Usage.
  • Flamio does not have a resume button or a way back to the Free plan — instead, resume a scheduled cancellation through Manage billing. After a cancellation ends, the organization has no plan and spends the tokens it has left.
  • Flamio does not refund plans or token packs, except where the law requires it — cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period. If you believe a refund is due, write to contact@flamio.org with your account email and the transaction. See the refund policy.
