Project settings

Rename a project, change what it covers and its site, tell Flamio what your product is, and tune how Vision reports are generated.

Each project has its own settings: its name, what it covers, its site, and the documentation Flamio reads to understand your product. Separate from these, the Analysis settings control how your Vision reports are generated.

Before you begin

  • Changing the name, site and documentation needs the Editor, Admin or Owner role. For other roles, these sections are not shown.
  • Settings apply to the active project. Pick the project in the menu at the top of the sidebar first — the settings page shows which project it is editing, with "Switch projects from the picker at the top of the sidebar."

Rename a project or change its site

Open the project settings

Click Settings in the sidebar, then Project settings under Project.

Edit the general details

Under General, change any of these:

  • Project name — the name shown across the app.
  • Covers — Website, Mobile app, or both. Removing one clears the settings only it needs.
  • Site URL — shown when Website is selected. It is the default target for new test tasks. You can leave it empty.

Save

Click Save changes. A message confirms Project updated.

Result: the new name and site apply everywhere at once. A bare domain is accepted — example.com is saved as https://example.com/. Text that is not an address is rejected with "Enter a full address, e.g. https://acme.com".

Tell Flamio what your product is

Project documentation tells Flamio what the product is, who uses it and what a visitor is meant to accomplish. Flamio reads it once and uses it to judge whether a session reached its goal, instead of guessing what the site is for.

Find the documentation section

On Settings > Project settings, scroll to Documentation.

Paste your documentation

Paste anything that explains the product into the box — a README, a landing page, onboarding notes.

Save it

Click Save documentation. A message confirms Documentation saved — processing it now.

Result: the status pill above the box shows where the documentation stands:

StatusWhat it means
Not addedNo documentation yet. Reports rely on what Flamio can infer from the site.
ProcessingFlamio is reading the documentation. This takes about a minute.
Needs answersFlamio has questions. Until you answer or skip them, reports ignore the documentation.
ReadyEvery new analysis reads this documentation.
Processing failedFlamio could not read it. Click Save documentation again to retry.

To change the documentation later, edit the text and save again. Saving re-reads the new text.

Answer Flamio's questions about your documentation

When the pill reads Needs answers, Flamio wants a little more context before it uses the documentation.

Read the questions

On Settings > Project settings > Documentation, find Flamio needs a bit more context.

Answer

Under each question, click one of the suggested answers, and add anything they miss in the box below.

Send

Click Send answer. Flamio may ask another round — answer until the pill reads Ready.

To stop answering, click Skip questions. Skipping marks the documentation ready as it stands.

Tune Vision reports

The Analysis settings trade speed for cost, or cost for depth, in the AI reports you generate in Flamio Vision. They are your own settings: they apply to every Vision report you generate, in any project.

Open the analysis settings

Click Settings in the sidebar, then Analysis under Project.

Choose cheaper or faster

Under Flamio Vision Async, turn on Generate reports asynchronously to make reports cheaper. Most reports then finish within an hour, but one can take up to 24 hours under load. Turn it off for reports that finish in minutes.

Choose the depth

Under Flamio Vision Reasoning, select Default — "Balanced. Recommended for most reports." — or High — "Deeper analysis. May cost more depending on task complexity."

Result: each change saves as soon as you click it, and a Saved message confirms it. There is no Save button on this page.

If the async toggle is grayed out with Currently unavailable, asynchronous reports are not available for your account.

More on this page

Settings > Project settings also has a Flamio On-Live section: Allowed domains, Allowed apps, and a Danger zone to revoke the key or turn live capture off. Settings > Integrations connects task trackers and Slack. See Install the web SDK and Integrations.

Limitations

  • Flamio does not delete or archive projects — there is no such action in Settings or in the sidebar menu. Instead, rename the project, switch its test tasks to Inactive, or turn off its live capture with Disable Flamio On-Live. A project's data is removed only when the whole account is deleted.
