Team & account

Manage your team

Invite teammates to your Flamio organization, change their roles, remove them, cancel invitations and rename the organization.

Your team works in one organization: everyone sees the same projects, recordings, reports and token balance. You manage who is in it on Settings > Team. For what each role allows, see Roles and permissions.

Before you begin

  • Inviting, changing roles, removing members and canceling invitations need the Owner or Admin role. Without it, these controls are not shown.
  • Renaming the organization needs the Owner role.
  • Accepting an invitation needs the invitation email, opened within 7 days.

Invite a teammate

Open the team settings

Click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then Team under Organization.

Enter the address and role

On the Invite a teammate card, enter the address in Email and select a Role: Admin, Editor or Viewer. The line under the card describes the role you picked.

Send the invitation

Click Send invite. A message confirms Invitation sent to the address, and the invitation appears under Pending invitations.

Result: your teammate gets an email with the subject "You are invited to your organization on Flamio" and an Accept invitation button. The link is valid for 7 days. Inviting the same address again replaces the pending invitation with a fresh link.

Accept an invitation

These steps are for the person you invited. The email link is the only way in — there is no join button inside the app.

In the invitation email, click Accept invitation.

Check the page

If the address is new to Flamio, the heading reads Create your account to join followed by the organization's name. If the address already has an account, it reads Sign in to join and the name. The line below shows the email and the role you were invited with.

Join

  • New account: enter Your name and a Password of at least 8 characters, then click Create account & join.
  • Existing account: enter your Password and click Sign in & join.
  • Or use the Google button above or with email, when it is shown. Only the invited address is accepted.

Result: the page shows You're in! and opens the Assistant page in the new organization. You are already signed in.

If the page says Invitation not available, the link is invalid, expired or already used. Ask a team admin to send you a fresh invitation.

Change a teammate's role

You need the Owner or Admin role.

Find the person

On Settings > Team, find them in the Members table.

Pick the new role

Open the dropdown in their Role column and select Admin, Editor or Viewer. The change saves as soon as you pick.

The new permissions apply from their next action — they don't need to sign out. The Owner row shows a plain badge instead of a dropdown, because that role cannot be changed.

Remove someone from the organization

You need the Owner or Admin role.

Find the person

On Settings > Team, find them in the Members table.

Remove them

Click Remove at the end of their row. There is no Remove on your own row (marked You) or on the Owner row.

Confirm

The Remove member dialog says the person "will lose access to this organization. Everything they created stays." Click Remove.

They lose access to the organization right away. The projects, test tasks, recordings and reports they created stay. A teammate who also has an organization of their own lands back in it; an account that was created by your invitation is signed out.

Cancel an invitation

You need the Owner or Admin role.

Find the invitation

On Settings > Team, scroll to Pending invitations. The card shows only while at least one invitation is waiting. The Expires column shows how long each link still works.

Revoke it

Click Revoke on the row. The emailed link stops working immediately.

To send a fresh link instead, invite the same address again — the new invitation replaces the pending one.

Rename your organization

You need the Owner role. The Rename button is not shown to other roles.

Start editing

On Settings > Team, click Rename on the Organization card at the top.

Save the new name

Enter the new name and click Save. Click Cancel or press Escape to keep the old name.

The Organization card shows the new name at once. The name in the sidebar menu updates after you reload the page.

Switch to another organization

If you belong to more than one organization, click the button at the top of the sidebar and pick one under Organizations. See Switch to another organization.

Limitations

  • Flamio does not have a Leave button — instead, an Owner or Admin removes you in Settings > Team. Deleting your account is not a way to leave: only the Owner of the organization you are in sees Delete account, and it deletes that organization's data.
  • Flamio does not let you create a second organization or a separate workspace per client — your organization is created when you sign up, and you join others only by invitation. Instead, create one project per product or client in your organization, or register a second account.
