Check whether an issue is real
Ask Flami to collect the evidence behind an On-Live issue and show what the recordings measured, before you spend time on a fix.
Not every detected issue is a real problem — a click on an element that does nothing by design looks like a dead click. Flami verification collects the evidence behind an issue and shows you what it measured, episode by episode, so you can decide faster.
Before you begin
- You need the Editor, Admin or Owner role to start a verification. Other roles see the result and the line Ask an editor of this project to run it.
- The issue must have happened at least once in the last 14 days. Flami always reads the last 14 days, whatever the filter bar says. With nothing in that window, the panel reads Nothing to verify.
Open the issue
In the sidebar, under Flamio On-Live, click Issues and open the issue. The Flami verification panel sits under the header, above the counters.
Start the verification
Click Verify with Flami.
Wait for it to finish
The panel shows Queued, then Verifying while Flami collects the evidence, with the seconds elapsed. You can leave the page and come back.
Read the result
The panel ends in one of these states:
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Facts collected | Flami gathered the evidence and shows what it found, without a verdict. Most issues end here. |
| Flami: a real problem | A verdict: the evidence shows a real problem, with the reason beside the badge. |
| Flami: not a problem | A verdict: the evidence shows no problem, with the reason. |
| Flami: cannot tell | A verdict: the evidence does not settle it, with the reason. |
Only some issue types get a verdict today. For the rest, you read the evidence and decide.
Under the badge, each Episode links to the replay at that moment. It lists what Flami found in that recording, each read as yes, no or could not tell, with the frames under What the recording showed.
The footer says how many recordings Flami could read, for example Read 4 of 5 recordings, and when the verification ran.
Decide what to do
Resolve or ignore the issue yourself. The panel never changes the issue status — Resolve and Ignore stay yours. See Find and triage issues.
Result
You see the evidence behind the issue next to the replays it comes from, and you decide whether to fix it. A verification is Flami's reading of the evidence, not a guarantee.
Run it again
When new episodes arrive after a verification, the panel shows New evidence since this verification. Click Verify again in the panel header.
If a verification fails, the panel says why. Click Try again when it is offered.
You can also ask Flami in the chat to check an issue. It starts the same verification and reads the result back to you. See Flami.
